At long last Venachar has thawed after a hard couple of months and is back to fishing it’s best with a huge variety of pike being caught from all the different areas of the loch, in particular the Road Shore car parks and Little Drum. It’s good to see the regular fishermen returning and also some new faces, in particular the Keswick branch of the PAC. The banks are also looking exceptionally clean and well maintained, so thanks to all responsible anglers for helping with this especially the PAAS and PAC members who always take their (and other people’s) rubbish away and dispose of it. Long may it continue. If you witness anybody mishandling/mistreating the fish, littering, cutting down trees or any other form of stupidity please report it to the Bailiff or the Park Rangers.
